Meet Our Driver of the Month
Jeremy Watt has been working for NAS since April, but in that short time he has impressed our team with his hard work and dedication. He was born and raised in Lapeer and now resides in Fort Gratiot. Jeremy is new to the field of trucking and has only been a driver for a year. He recently made a career change from criminal justice to trucking because he has family members in trucking as well. He enjoys the flexibility and independence that truck driving provides. His favorite drive is down to Laredo.
Jeremy is a proud United States Marine Veteran. He appreciates working for a company that is 100% veteran owned. He served 8 years in the Marine Corps in infantry and was the first unit deployed to Afghanistan after 9/11. He spent the last 3 years of his service as an instructor at Marine Corps Base Quantico. He received his degree in Criminal Justice and worked in the juvenile justice system before working as a Lapeer County Sheriff Deputy for 11 years.
In his time off, Jeremy enjoys spending time with his 16-year-old daughter and 10-year-old son. He likes golfing, hunting (when time allows), fishing, camping, and doing yardwork. He usually packs his own meals on the road, but when he’s home, he enjoys Tio Gordo’s Restaurant in Port Huron.
