Meet Our Crew
Welcome to our new feature where you can learn more about the people behind the scenes who make this company great! Our first featured employee is our “Driver of the Month,” Danny Gallegos. Danny is one of our first drivers from when the company was first established. He is a valuable member of our team and we our proud to have him as our first Driver of the Month. We sat down with Danny to get to know more about his life on and off the road.
Danny has been working as a truck driver for 9 years and has been with North American Specialized since January 2017. He loves driving because he loves being out on the open road and seeing new things. He is from Zapata, Texas and although he loves his home state, he enjoys experiencing the changing weather as he travels the States. He loves spending time with his wife and two sons, ages 9 and 4, just relaxing at home. He enjoys authentic Mexican food, especially tacos and burritos. When he is off the road, he likes cooking and fishing with his family.
Danny enjoys working for NAS because he loves the people he works with. He says the dispatchers are great, especially Jim. He also says his bosses, Joel and Steve, are great to work for, especially when they give him extra vacation time!
